Seasons

chellis_house_squareWe are no longer young. Memories lose their sharp edges. Seasons spill over, one into the next, and slide away. The only constant is how my heart leaps when your gaze meets mine.

 


It’s been 18 years since the picture above, and she hasn’t changed an iota. 🙂

This post was made in response to the Trifecta Writing Challenge weekend prompt, in which the editors asked us for exactly 33 words of soul-soaring happiness  inspired by this photo project by Eirik Solheim.
