Bravery

At last the prince slew his dark demons, the only fear he’d known. He kissed the moon goodnight, drew up his coverlet of stars, and drifted down to rest under the slumbering sun.

This post was made in response to the Trifecta Writing Challenge weekend Trifextra prompt, in which the editors asked us forย a children’s bedtime story in exactly 33 words (one that won’t leave our kids with visions of the boogie man dancing in their heads).

I am always so impressed with your writing. This is such an incredible image you’ve painted with words. It brought to mind my own little prince and what he may be like in a few years.

Ahhhh! Peaceful! I want to be tucked in just so. Beautiful job. I miss this having big kids. Although, the never turn down a back rub from mommy even at 20.
